Welcome to Fishtales Guide Service.  We offer inshore and coastal fishing for speckled trout and redfish along the Louisiana coast.  Located one hour from New Orleans in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, Fishtales has access to some of the most pristine, abundant waters of the entire Gulf Coast.  Fishing trips are available year-round and are customized to your specifications.  Corporate trips available.

Beginning June 1st, 2006, our new prices are as follows:

2 persons - 550

3 persons - 600

4 persons - 650

These prices are per boat/day and include fuel, tackle, bait, ice, and fish cleaning.  You provide food and drink.

You are responsible for purchasing a current fishing license prior to the trip.  Louisiana residents must purchase a basic fishing license and also a saltwater license.  Non-resident fishermen may purchase a charter boat license which is valid for three consecutive days and is only available to non-residents fishing with a licensed guide.  Ask your guide for his license number for purchasing.  All of the above licenses may be purchased at local tackle stores, Wal-Mart's or online at www.wlf.state.la.us

We fish out of 22' to 24' Bay Boats, which offer the shallow draft needed for marsh fishing as well as a smooth, comfortable ride in the open bays and lakes.
